The last pictures we saw of Paris Hilton were the ones of her strutting her stuff at the petrol station in heels and a minidress (she was on her way to the dentist according to reports) so we're pleased to report that her latest appearance on our radars involved an outfit far better suited to her activity - that of promoting her range of sunglasses in Shanghai, China. So with the awards all handed out, the speeches delivered and the performances, erm, performed, the Brit Awards attendees gathered themselves together and hopped into a car to one (or more) of the various after-parties happening all over London. In fact, there was so much going on, and so much party-hopping happening, that we're finding it hard to keep track of who went where, and when... And the award for the craziest hair and makeup to hit the catwalk during London Fashion Week goes to... Photo: Getty Images Without a doubt, Meadham Kirchoff. Hair in every colour, face paint, glitter... this show had it all. We went backstage to find out how Mac and Bumble & Bumble worked together to create this one-of-a-kind look for Meadham. Makeup artist Florrie White said her inspiration was "That transvestite look. It's Boy George pre-90's and gives a nod to Kevyn Aucoin's make up style, but then I added loads of glitter. The main focus was divine intrusion". Each of the models' looks was different, but most of the girls had a cold, hard complexion, with colourful lines painted randomly across the face. Glitter and heart stickers were also added to some the faces and necks for an extravagant, carnival feel. However, the makeup was just half of this look. BEG, BORROW OR STEAL: The dresses! Oh the dresses! Eclectic, luxe and a little bit sexy with their mix of floral crepes, lurex and metallic jacquard. VERDICT: London Fashion Week has been dominated by gritty, mean and moody collections thus far. And as much as we love that London edge, sometimes we need a bit of glamour to get us through the winter months - and that's exactly what Mr Van Der Ham gave us on the runway. Photo:Getty IN A NUTSHELL: It was getting a bit hot under the collar for Holly Fulton's Autumn/Winter woman, who was channeling a little bit of Lady Chatterley: "Forget the Lord of the Manor, she's had her eye on the gardener for years," explained the show notes. With dishevelled updos and come-to-bed eyes, the clothes were a reflection of 'frivolous behaviour' and 'steamy hedonism'. Ooh-err. Translation? Think Holly's signature geometric patterns in a restricted colour palette based around neon pink and aqua blue (we like to think of it as the girl-boy variation), in a series of 60s mini-shifts, printed two-piece suits and pencil skirts - with OTT handbags, oversized earrings and classic black patent heels.
