Reality TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian was born in L.A. in 1980 and gained notoriety when a sex tape she made in 2003 with singer Ray J was leaked. In 2007, Kardashian and her siblings began starring in the successful E! reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which continues to air and has spawned spin-off shows Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Khloe & Lamar and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

From Playboy to Dancing with the Stars, Kim Kardashian has become a ubiquitous media presence, guest-starring on shows including How I Met Your Mother and America’s Next Top Model. Kardashian also starred in a music video for her song “Jam (Turn It Up)”. The reality star co-owns clothing chain DASH with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe and has her own fragrances, various clothing lines, a self-tanner and jewellery collections.

Kim Kardashian is known for her long raven locks (although in March 2012, she was photographed showing off a new look in a platinum blonde wig) and curvaceous bum, which she frequently displays in body-hugging ensembles and bikinis.

Kim Kardashian got close and flirty with Justin Bieber, who starred in an ELLE photoshoot with the reality star in 2010, but her recent real-life romance involved basketball player Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets, whom she began dating in October 2010 and married in August 2011. The couple divorced after only 72 days of marriage.
