Victoria Beckham Explains Why She's A 'Pain In The Neck' To Work With

Victoria Beckham opened up about being a working mum during a Q&A at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the Vogue Festival over the weekend. The former Spice Girl told the seminar, "Being a working mum you feel guilty every time you go out of the door when you have to work."

The singer-turned-fashion-designer added, "I think you feel so torn, don't you? But I've got great people who handle my schedule and everything does revolve around the children.

"I try not to travel too much unless it's during the school holidays as I don't like to leave the kids. The children are my priority and always have been, and always will be.

"It's the same for any working mum out there. You just do your best, but constantly feel guilty. I enjoy being a mum. I love having kids more than anything and I would do anything for them."

Posh explained when she does take her kiddies into the office it's not problem.

"We love to have children at work as well, with them running around it's a really good energy to have. When Harper was a baby she had one of those swinging chairs and she would swing one way and bang into a load of fabric, and she'd swing the other way and bang into a load of samples.

"So it's a small creche! There are a lot of working mums working where I work, but we plan."

So VB is a cool boss then? Well... "I'm a perfectionist, I like everything to be right," she said. "I'm probably a complete pain in the neck to work with because it is really important to me because I've grown this brand from nothing to where it is now."
