When I look in the mirror I see... myself of course! Well, actually the only thing I’m usually thinking is, “I need to put on some makeup.” So, I see a woman who NEEDS to put on some makeup.

If I was stranded on a desert island with one dress it would be... I would be naked! If I was on a desert island by myself I wouldn’t care what I was wearing, I’d just be strutting around in my birthday suit, but if I was to take a dress with me it would be my little black Gucci dress that I’ve had for years and I can still wear now.

When I was at school I wanted to be... a model. When I was about 13 I absolutely loved Twiggy, I desperately wanted to be like her.

My biggest style triumph was... I feel most triumphant when I’m in a great vintage piece. Once I wore a beautiful 1930s long silver dress to an event and teamed it with a white Balmain jacket. I remember thinking, “I wish I could wear this outfit all the time!” I love to mix vintage with new.

If I could be any character from film or literature I'd be... I’ve always admired Marilyn Monroe her films, her voice, her style. When I was young I secretly wished I was adopted and Marilyn was my real mother – sorry mum!
