Spice up your life! Simon Cowell and ITV are apparently dead set on securing Mel B as the new X Factor judge. Scary Spice is allegedly in talks to replace Tulisa on the 10th series but it has been reported that she won't be able to find time in her super-busy schedule.
Mel recently moved back to LA to star as the new judge on another of Simon’s mega-shows, America’s Got Talent, and filming clashes with The X Factor’s opening auditions.
“Mel did fantastically and proved a big draw on the ratings front," a source apparently told The Mirror. "She is just what the show needs to liven it up - fresh, bolshy and opinionated - and Simon is a big fan.
“Mel is also Northern which, although it sounds ridiculous, has proved important with audiences up north... An initial deal has been agreed – it’s now a case of trying to make Mel’s AGT schedule fit around the X Factor.”
Simon needn't worry if Mel B can't commit because we've lined up a host of potential new judges - thanks us later Mr Cowell.
Imagine a weekend filled with Justin and his casually undone bow tie *sigh*.
We picture her as the Britney Spears of the UK X Factor.
This would never ever happen but how great would it be if it did?
The Dalai Lama
We reckon he'd be a calming influence on the (at times heated) judging panel.
She has won *deep breath* two Academy Awards, eight Grammy Awards, five Emmy Awards including one Daytime Emmy, a Special Tony Award, an American Film Institute award, a Kennedy Center Honors award, a Peabody Award and is one of the few entertainers who has won an Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award. Phew! If that doesn't make her qualified what does?
Since calling it quits on the whole Popedom thing, Benedict will need a hobby to keep him busy... Ergo he should be the new Tulisa.
