London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013: Antonio Berardi

Get updates from Katie Jones:

Inspired by architect Oscar Neimeyer, Antonio Berardi's Autumn/Winter 2013 show was one of structure and shape. "I was attracted by the curve", he wrote in the show notes and this strong but seductive silhouette was seen throughout the collection.

Flashes of royal blue, lime and red broke up the predominantly monochrome colour palette while fluid lines, tactile textures and 3D embroidery served as subtle reminders of the urban landscape. Floor-skimming capes, tailored trousers and blazers with oversized lapels flattered the female form beautifully. And the shoes? Berardi's girl gets to pick from sturdy, wedge shoe-boots or the more elegant, pointy printed sandals next season. Lucky her.
