Fashion Priest At Fashion Week: Day Three Of Fashion Scout

I am glowing from the glorious memories of last night's Woolmark Prize. The ME Hotel was a resplendent venue to hold the judged fashion show of all six finalists. As the judges trotted out on stage I almost dropped my double frozen passion fruit martini: Net-a-Porter's Natalie Massenet, Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani and among others, in floated the Holy Grail - Victoria Beckham, Diane von Furstenberg, Donatella Versace. Madonna's "Like a Prayer" began playing on repeat in my mind as I gazed upon the Holy Trinity. I was totes delighted to then see my Style.com kindred spirit editor-at-large Tim Blanks also on the panel.

I clapped my hands in Gospel Choir celebration when the lush hand knit merino wool collection of Antwerp's finest import Christian Wijnants received the reward. I'd had the blessed pleasure of fluttering my eyelashes at delish Christian yesterday over breakfast bellinis.

After an air kiss from the rapturous Posh, Tim and I then got down to serious celestial business. Fashion Month A/W 2013 so far. The saintly silver fox wailed over how underrated Anna Sui still is in NYFW and how in the name of Jesus to wear Craig Green off the runway.

LFW in his words "...is cracks when people do things and sometimes they disappear into the crack and then they're never heard of again." For the fashion liturgical landscape, Tim uses The Central St. Martins show as a kind of "weather vane, sexless... liturgical... spiritual... there was a moment when St Martins was post-apocalyptic, now its like post post-apcololyptic. Now it's like everybody's died and gone to heaven". So it is written.

The evangelical editor also wears Prada religiously but confashioned to me that, like Fashion Priest, he can "swing from pleasingly plumptuous to morbidly obese". There are therefore some 50s graphic print Prada shirts that are yet to be worn. Maybe one day he will, but hey "what the hell". Amen.

So today I was ready and waiting for Phoebe English's dystopian, pagan, Medusa inspired fabulousness under an otherworldly wooden structure totes perf for the Freemason's hallowed Hall. Pounding grinding burst speaker base soundtrack synched seamlessly with the edgy frayed untailored fabric ends, wide jacket stitching and sister gauze eye masks. Masterful.

Last but not least on the day of our Lord was the Ukraine Showcase hosting the best dressed #FRow I have seen thus far. Anna Kolomoets velour white wide collar delights began proceedings, with her monochrome leather mismatching a joy to behold. After a music malfunction (hang the DJ!) Yasya Minochkina sent a beatific black floor length zip pocket detail frock with ankle bustle. Paskal rocked a 90s rave revival with a Statue of Liberty in rust green high headbands and cut out tops. Divine Inspiration.

For your style Lord Anna October stole the runway with her gift giving influence presenting an angelic array of giant tinsel fringe black coats and 1950s pink tiny trim detailed dressed. After the show she admitted her dark #confashion secret of donning a pair of pink wallpaper plastic pants for most of her youth. Let us pray.

I'd love to pontificate further, but I must transform to my East London high street self for the Dalston Club Dimanche after party with my hot off the Topshop Unique runway red sequin jumpsuit, Yifang Wan star neckpiece and David Koma wedges. After that Lyall Hakaraia is calling for me to give Vogue Fabrics my holy blessing. My God. A Fashion Priest's work is never done.
