Well that's one way to stand out at your new book launch in NY, Nigella: wear a dress with more colours on it than a rainbow on LSD.

The sultry chef donned her retina-damaging floral and stripy number to plug new book Nigellissima at the Barnes and Noble store in Union Square.

We wonder if it helped persuade anyone to actually buy the tome, or whether they all ran off sharpish in search of the nearest paracetomol.
