There we were thinking it was all about the 85th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon, when some of the leading ladies actually decided to save their best for the Hollywood Reporter's Nominee's Night.
Jennifer Lawrence is a case in point. While her cream Chloé frock was pretty, it's not a patch on this embellished cleavage-boosting nude number.
And Amy Adams swapped her covered-up floral J. Mendel gown for a sexy lace LBD.
While Jessica Chastain poured her curves into a stunning black peplum dress (but we still love the floral Erdem from earlier).
It was just Naomi Watts who decided to relax her look for the evening bash, swapping black Valentino for metallic jeans and a white blazer.
We're crushing on J-Law for this one…
