This Can't Be True! Lauren Goodger Named Ultimate Trendsetter (By An Essex Boutique)

Get updates from Ellen Stewart:

Is this a joke? No really, is this some kind of TOWIE-sponsored ploy? Lauren Goodger has been named the ultimate celebrity trendsetter - excuse us while we weep at our desks, a framed picture of Miranda Kerr in one hand a box of kleenex in the other.

Other slebs who APPARENTLY send sales soaring as die-hard fans flock to the shops to find copycat outfits include Carol Vorderman (slightly more acceptable), Melanie Sykes and Amy Childs *sigh*.

According to the study from an Essex-based boutique, while shoppers are desperate to look like Lauren, celebrities such as actress Chelsee Healey and TOWIE's Gemma Collins have the opposite effect at the tills.

Whatever the survey says, we refuse to accept the Goodger as a style icon. If you need our reasons, just check out the gallery below...

  • Do us a favour Lauren, and ignore your animal instinct.
