She shaved her hair off for her role in the new Mad Max movie, and the look was, at best, boyish.

So we were pleased to see Charlize looking feminine and fabulous as she made a guest appearance at the Crystal Award Ceremony of the World Economic Forum at the Swiss ski resort of Davos.

Her buzz cut has grown into a cute, blonde-tinted pixie crop, and her sea-blue dress was pretty and flattering.

The actress received an award for her humanitarian work, and took the opportunity to talk about the fight against AIDS.

Caring, intelligent, talented, and back to her best. Phew.

It's a bit of a shame that you put so much emphasis on a woman's hair? So a woman could have the prettiest face, great body and a brilliant personality but if she had short hair, you'd think she was unattractive? I'm not trying to have a go, I'm just intrigued by your viewpoint.

Do people just look at the pictures without bothering to read the article? Right here goes. She had her head shaved for a movie role (with me so far?). I don't know about your hair but most people don't have hair that grows back over night! But if you've discovered some kind of miracle grow for hair then please share it with the rest of us!
