Meow! Zooey Deschanel hangs out with the latest additions to New Girl's cast

Does Jess become a crazy cat lady in the next series of New Girl? Yesterday Zooey Deschanel was spotted dashing around Los Angeles filming one of the upcoming episodes and then chilling out with a gang of cats.

Whatever the reason, the actress was pretty happy to welcome the latest additions to the show's cast on her birthday.

She posted a picture of her new feline friends on Instagram, commenting:
