She's usually all about hip-hop when it comes to style but at the Brit Awards 2013 nominees announcement, Rita Ora showed she can do award season chic too. Easily.

New girl on the music block, Reets - who's nominated for two Brit gongs (Best British Breakthrough and Best Single) - was bling-a-ding-ding in a sequinned dress by Diane Von Furstenberg.

Keeping things classy with an oh-so trendy hairdo, courtesy of Percy and Reed, Rita well and truly kicked that ghetto gal look to the curb - and we reckon this look is a keeper, agreed?

Team MyDaily was seriously impressed with the red carpet style at the muso party - Rita's fellow nominees Jessie Ware and Paloma Faith also deserve sartorial snaps.

Paloma was stunning in Vivienne Westwood satin, while Jessie kept it simple in an oriental-style black number. Pal (not sure that nickname will catch on) and Jess weren't the only slebs Rita was seen showbiz schmoozing with. Everyone's favourite BFF Nick Grimshaw, aka Grimmers, made a beeline for the R.I.P singer as soon as she arrived for the big announcement at The Savoy.

Speaking of R.I.P (one of two Rita singles up for an award) hip-hop homeboy Tinie Tempah was quick to tweet his congrats to Reets when the news was announced - well, he did feature on the track 'n all...

Talking about her nominations Rita said, "I can’t believe I’m up for two awards, and I’ve got two songs in Best Single. I actually can’t believe it.... I’m a big fan of what it [the Brits] means. It’s really about the best in British music, and we’re taking over the world at the moment. I went to the awards last year, but this year is going to be quite different I think."

Oh, and she's already prepping for the award ceremony next month, "We’re planning now, researching dresses and designers. I’d love to perform on the night."
