Jennifer Lawrence beat out Naomi Watts in the awards stakes at the Critics' Choice Awards (she nabbed Best Actress in a Comedy for Silver Linings Playbook and Best Actress in an Action Movie for The Hunger Games) - but was she the winner in the style stakes?

Both women chose to wear cleavage-baring black dress, with Naomi opting for an Emilio Pucci Resort 2013 frock with a sheer V neckline, which she paired with Nicholas Kirkwood heels, an Edie Parker clutch, and an Irene Neuworth clutch.

Jennifer, meanwhile, sashayed down the red carpet in a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 number with a boob-boosting sweetheart neckline, ruching at the front and a leather waist belt. Chopard jewellery, Jimmy Choo heels and a Roger Vivier clutch finished the look.

Maybe if the top part which is made out of a different fabric ( looks like leather too me ) was the same as the rest of the dress it would look nicer.

Both attractive women, Naomi probably looking best in her dress. I have to say, having looked through the slideshow, most of the women look to be a bit of a tuttle. The dresses seem to have been produced with the simple aim of being different. Very few look elegant or stylish. In fact, out of all of them, only Emiliy Blunt looks stunning. A simple dress that suits her figure and colouring. The rest need to sack the stylists.

Plunging you say! PLUNGING? They may have been a bit racy when put on display in 1869 but they cut very little dash in 2013. My cat's neckline plunges more than they do and he's a male!
