Happy 31st birthday! We hope you're sleeping late, eating cake and literally struggling to get through a HUGE pile of presents that are at least 80 per cent diamond encrusted.

We're completely certain 2013 is your year for these reasons:

1. You're the most famous mother-to-be on the planet. Seriously. You're Duchess Yummy-Mummy-to-be - even Kim Kardashian can't compete.

2. You don't have to do all of those royal tours at the moment so can do things like sit about watching Love Film and drinking tea.

3. If you do decide to go out, you've got the best designers just waiting for your nod to create the dreamiest maternity wardrobe especially for you. Nod at Alice Temperley. Please.

If we were you today, we'd put on an amazing dress, an outrageously sparkly tiara and make Prince William take us somewhere wonderful that's full of beautiful things. Like Karl Lagerfeld's couture atelier in Paris.
