Blogged: Six Stylish Resolutions For The New Year

What a fashion-fabulous year 2012 has been! We know that whilst you're all wowing the Christmas crowds with your Winter wardrobe (faux-fur, luxe-leather and statement jewellery), you're already dreaming of what wonders 2013 has in store. Whilst listing our own, we asked a few fashion bloggers what their resolutions were for the new year ahead so take a spin through our gallery below if you need a little inspiration:

Fashion blogger: <a href="http://www.ladympresents.co.uk/"target="_hplink">Lady M Presents</a> 1. Embrace being specky. I have some great glasses but don't wear them enough... I need to give my eyes a break from contacts and glasses are becoming stylish now! 2. Embrace red- I always avoid it but there are so many hues that could work for me... Particularly wine colours. 3. Rotate my handbags more, I stick to just one for about three months but I have a drawer full of them. 4. Be ruthless: There's no way I'm going to hand embellish that boring grey jumper, convert those hideous jeans into some awesome cut-offs, or replace the heels on that trashed pair of shoes, so GET RID OF THEM. 5. Make moodboards. It's super naff and totally something I did when I was 14, but making a real life Pinterest board with fashion inspiration on often encourages me to dig out old, hidden gems.

Fashion blogger: <a href="http://myfashdiary.com/"target="_hplink">My Fash Diary</a> 1. I have decided to do what I have always wanted - turn Myfashdiary.com into my career! I am moving into Myfashdiary offices in Dubai Media City in the new year. 2. I have also learnt to never stop doing what you love... Work should never feel like work. Having moved back home with my family - my new years resolution is to live life to the max, spend more time with my closest family and friends.

Fashion blogger: <a href="http://runninginheels.co.uk/"target="_hplink">Running in Heels</a> 1. In a fantasy parallel universe, I'd like to move into a place with a walk-in wardrobe, and begin buying collectable costume jewellery. I also plan to attempt to be on time more often, thus cutting down on running in heels, which is a dangerous occupation. 2. This year I'm resolved (as every year) to only invest in timeless items and stop unnecessary splurging on high street. I also plan to wear less black and more navy, and actually tackle the frightening realm that is the Dry Cleaning Heap.

Fashion blogger: <a href="http://some-kind-of-style.blogspot.co.uk/"target="_hplink">Some Kind Of Style</a> 1. Try to exercise more or at least do some fun sports like start up dancing again. 2. Perhaps find love in the new year, but cannot force this one really, and last but not least reconnect with good old friends. 2. On the Fashion Bloggers note my New Years 2013 resolution is to let my interests and personal work shine more through my Blog, or even set up a new Blog. Stay tuned!

Fashion blogger: <a href="http://www.randomfashioncoolness.com/blog/"target="_hplink">Random Fashion Coolness</a> Resolutions: 1. To blog more - the blog's undergoing a redesign. I'm such a perfectionist that I antagonise for hours over the collages I create. Something cleaner this way comes in January to mark 6 years of Random Fashion Coolness. 2. To put my phone down more often - Facebook, Twitter & Instagram do not require constant monitoring and I need to remember that more often. 3. Cull/curb my fascination with glossy magazines - I have NO willpower when it comes to a striking cover & buy quite indiscriminately. This Christmas, I've subscribed to my favourite bi-annuals; Lula, Self Service & The Gentlewoman in the hope that this will satisfy my magpie's eye. I know that inevitably Elle and Vogue will end up min the bottom of the shopping trolley too!
