Best & Worst Dressed Of The Week: 22 December

Since we're always on the lookout for great celebrity style, here's a round-up of this week's best-dressed. And since there are often fashion misses among the hits, we couldn't resist pointing out those looks that were better off left on the hanger.

This dress makes a bold statement without being OTT and shows off the heptathlete's amazing figure.

16 December: Kelly Rowland in A.F. Vandevorst at VH1 Divas in L.A. This draped dress looks like it's drowning Kelly in too much fabric, and the fit around the middle is poor. Such a shame considering how gorgeous her hair and makeup look.

14 December: Freida Pinto in Valentino at the 2012 Dubai International Film Festival, Dubai Cares and Oxfam “One Night to Change Lives” charity gala in Dubai Regal, elegant and utterly chic, this is Freida and Valentino at their best.

16 December: Paloma Faith in Julien MacDonald at VH1 Divas in L.A. This hyper-embellished dress is fighting to stand out against Paloma's bouffant, two-tone hair. Sadly, the hair overwhelms all and turns the look from chic to comical.

19 December: Britney Spears at The X Factor season finale night 1 in L.A. OK, we've accepted that Britney is never going to be the savviest red-carpet dresser. But this bizarre cap-sleeved jumpsuit with extra-long beaded necklace and cap-toed shoes looks like she's auditioning to be catering staff or a chorus girl in a musical.
