Who? Romeo Beckham, aka Victoria and David's middle child.

What? Victoria's 10-year-old son has been hand-picked by Burberry's top creative bod, Christopher Bailey, to star in the brand's spring summer 2013 campaign. The advert was shot by none other than Mario Testino, and Romeo joins models Charlie France and Edie Campbell in the ad. When he turned up at the Viva Forever press night looking super-suave in a black Burberry coat, little did we know he'd already wrapped the shoot.

In a statement released on 17 December, Burberry said: "We are excited to reveal news of the Burberry Spring Summer 2013 campaign cast, featuring Romeo Beckham and Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell, Charlotte Wiggins, Alex Dunstan, Charlie France and Max Rendell."

Verdict? Romeo has always been the most style-conscious of the Beckham children (so far), so it's hardly surprising he's following mum Victoria and dad David into the fashion world. And, we've got to admit it, he looks pretty darn cute, doesn't he?

I doubt they're exploiting their son to make money, as some comments suggest - I should think that it expresses a desperate addiction to publicity and fame, which they hope to live vicariously now that their own stars are waning.

i just hope he was'nt pressured into this , we all know what victoria is like , but if he chose to do it himself , then good for him , and i wish him all the best , i'm sure mums and dads names opened a door for him either way , and he is'nt the middle child , there are four , and he is the second oldest , daily , you need to do your maths better in future .

my boss approaches potential customers to sell his product..............isnt that the same thing???? Posh is trying to promote and sell her goods, whether you like her/them or not, it is to some peoples tastes.
The Spice Girls, with careful marketing, did rise to undeserved heights, but we the public spent all the money to put them there (I personally thought they were dreadful and not 1 penny of my money put them up there)
Everything doesnt suit everyone, but business is business, he wont be the face of Burberry forever, then BURBERRY, not the Beckhams, can perhaps give the oppertunity to a child that is 'in need' of it.

If I was Burberry's CEO , I 'd scout for a Model with more than just famous parents .

If I was in the media and Victoria Beckham approached me offering to design my clothes , then I would decline , and ask someone who is trained ,educated and qualified as a designer.
Business is business , but give it to the deserving and the qualified , not to those who are marketed and arrive not by talent but Hype.

It never changes. The rich and famous very often have progeny that seem to live vicariously through their parents, then wish to emulate them or be involved in something similar. Peaches, Lourdes, Romeo, Jaden...the list goes on and on.
