This weekend saw the X Factor reach its dramatic conclusion (congrats James Arthur, by the way). The high tempo, high action final kicked off on Saturday night, and although we were keen to see what the finalists would pull out of the bag, we were equally (if not more) excited to see who would win in the style stakes: Tulisa vs Nicole!
They've been battling it out for the past nine weeks, and on Saturday Scherzy came out on top (just by the skin of her teeth, mind you) when she wowed in a floor-length (and very festive) Zuhair Murad gown. Tulisa, although she looked fab in an avant-garde bespoke dress by Suzanne Neville, was marginally pipped her to the style post, purely for her Christmassy spirit.
Sunday night, which saw both of Nicole's boys battle to be crowned X Factor winner, was a different story altogether. Nic stepped out in a stunning figure-hugging Stephane Rolland Haute Couture fishtail gown, complete with statement gold paneling and Tulisa hit the stage all glitz and glam in a beautifully embellished Hollie de Keyser ensemble. You know what, we really couldn't call it...
Team MyDaily was left speechless at the last hurdle, but we have to say, week-on-week Nicole Scherzinger is our winner, would you agree?
