The Obama family wrapped up warm for the 90th annual lighting of the National Christmas Tree outside the White House on Thursday evening. The president was joined by his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha, who were given the job of pressing the all-important switch to turn on the twinkling red and green lights.

There was even an embarrassing dad moment, when Obama asked his family to join him in a rendition of Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town. Just a casual sing song in front of a 70,000-strong crowd.
