Manolo Blahnik To Be Honoured With Outstanding Achievement Award At British Fashion Awards

Manolo Blahnik will be honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the British Fashion Awards on 27 November. He's the man behind the fabulous heels that we cannot live without, and these ''gestures'' as he calls them, have given inches and style to the best of us. Carrie Bradshaw may have brought Manolo to our screens, but with 40 years in the game and collaborations with global fashion designers, it's clear that Manolo made his own mark on the fashion world.

On news of his award he said “It is a great honour to be receiving this award from the British Fashion Council. To be recognised for doing something I love is really wonderful.” It has also been confirmed that Blanhnik will design the backdrop of London Fashion Week 2013. We know we'll be wowed yet again.

Bravo, may the shoes never end.
