Who: Leading ladies, Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren, and Jessica Biel.

What: Helen Mirren might be twice the age of her Hitchcock co-stars, but she certainly did a good job of outshining them on the red carpet at last night's New York premiere of the film.

While Scarlett donned a leaf-print, tiered mini that would have looked better on Batman's Poison Ivy, Jessica Biel opted for a rather, let's face it, odd, lacy silver suit.

So that left Helen with every opportunity to steal the limelight in her black dress with gold brocade detailing, a cool quiffed hairdo and fresh, dewy makeup.

Where: The Hitchcock premiere, Ziegfield Theatre, New York.

Verdict? Cool Britannia wins the day.

Helen Mirren would steal the show wearing a bin liner. She has a timeless elegance and always looks sensational.

Of course she stole the show! Helen Mirren is a gorgeous looking lady with a fantastic figure. The other two are quite frankly minging especially Scarlet!

Helen looks cool and elegant. Jessica always looks lovely, but her outfit is unflattering. Scarlett just looks tarty.

Well done Helen, you look dignified and classy, as always.
However, you had little competition this time, as one turned up in her pyjamas and the other one seems to be dressed as a kiwi fruit with foliage! There is no chance of our current 'stars' aging with dignity.
