Spanish stunner Penelope Cruz has been announced as the new face of Loewe's Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign. Cruz will represent the luxury leather house for three years starting from January. On teaming up with Loewe she said it's "an international brand proud of its Spanish roots with a rich history behind" adding that "I have always admired their work. I feel fortunate to be a part of this project."
The campaign was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to capture what Loewe’s creative director describes as Penelope's "strong, sensual beauty". Loewe is just one in a long line of luxury brands to work with the Oscar winning actress. She recently collaborated with Agent Provocateur for the launch of new diffusion line L'Agent with sister Monica, which is due to launch next year. Cruz has also been ambassador for brands such as Lancome, Mango and L'Oreal.
