Since we're always on the lookout for great celebrity style, here's a round-up of this week's best-dressed. And since there are often fashion misses among the hits, we couldn't resist pointing out those looks that were better off left on the hanger.
Check out our latest installment to see which stars nailed it and who was a fashion mess. And don't forget to check back each week to see who made the cut.
9 October: Alexa Chung in Chanel at a celebration of Chanel Fine Jewellery’s 80th anniversary of the Bijoux De Diamants collection in New York We love Alexa's quirky twist on classic Chanel, with a mussed-up hairdo and chunky, cap-toe shoes. Plus, this dress is just dreamy.
10 October: Salma Hayek in Cushnie et Ochs outside The Late Show With David Letterman The styling on this look is a little OTT and Madonna-esque, especially with all of the items teamed together (the leather, the thigh split, the plunge neck, the fishnets, the power shoulders and the chunky satin shoes). Fail.
6 October: Ashley Greene in Antonio Berardi at the Third Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Pacific Palisades, CA Ashley normally sticks to designer Donna Karan on the red carpet, but she scored a hit in a geometric-print neutral dress by master of the figure-hugging silhouette, Antonio Berardi.
8 October: Jessica Biel in Isabel Marant while out shopping on Avenue Montaigne in Paris Simply put: Too many studs! This look is like a Michael Jackson video come to life.
10 October: Abbie Cornish in Roland Mouret at the after-party for the Seven Psychopaths screening in New York Abbie hasn't always been known for her red carpet hits, but it looks like the actress has finally hit her style stride. This curve-hugging fishtail gown is a gorgeous choice on the star and an elegant way to add a summery burst to a look.
9 October: Christina Aguilera at the 2012 American Music Awards nominations in L.A. Christina's ultra-skintight style isn't doing the singer any favours, and we're getting tired of her hair colour blending into her outfit choices.
