Since we're always on the lookout for great celebrity style, here's a round-up of this week's best-dressed. And since there are often fashion misses among the hits, we couldn't resist pointing out those looks that were better off left on the hanger.
Check out our latest installment to see which stars nailed it and who was a fashion mess. And don't forget to check back each week to see who made the cut.
20 September: Anne Hathaway in Valentino Couture at the 2012 New York City Ballet Fall Gala in New York Anne and Valentino are a great red carpet match, and this look doesn't disappoint. We love the combination of the actress's edgy pixie cut with sultry makeup and the romantic, flower-detail dress.
15 September: Christina Hendricks in Jenny Packham at the 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards in L.A. Christina's curves are the talk of many towns, but this dress isn't doing anything to highlight, or even show off, her gorgeous figure. The print washes her out and the shape is too tent-like for the star.
16 September: Nicole Richie in Mathieu Mirano at the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards in Pasadena Wowza! Nicole is evolving beyond her boho-chick persona, and the result, judging by this sexy-but-still-totally-appropriate red carpet choice, is flawless.
16 September: Christina Aguilera in Michael Kors at the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards in Pasadena Christina's look illustrates how a perfectly elegant dress can be ruined with a really trashy-looking hairstyle. Nothing against dip-dye, but this glam dress calls for polished hair, not a tacky My Little Pony-inspired 'do.
19 September: Amy Adams in Roksanda Ilincic at the Trouble with the Curve premiere in Westwood, CA To coincide with London Fashion Week, Amy rocked London designer Roksanda Ilincic's feminine asymmetric frock on the red carpet this week and looked utterly ethereal. Bonus points for the tumbling waves and fresh, natural makeup.
7 September: Tulisa at the 2012 MOBO Awards nominations announcement in London This dress isn't great (what is that unflattering V-detail bisecting the singer's chest?) and looks a little on the snug side, but the shaved head-meets-side curls is the real travesty of this ensemble.
