Jessie J showed a very different side to her style on the GQ Men Of The Year Awards red carpet on Tuesday.
The singer opted for a dress which looked like the lovechild of a suit jacket and an Oscars gown (in a good way, you understand) and sported a thigh-high split. All the better for showing off her golden shoes.
But it was at head height where the most striking differences were located. Namely the absence of a long wig with a blunt fringe and some very understated makeup.
We're used to Jessie's in-your-face stage style so it took us a few moments to get to grips with this turn of events! Here's more of last night's awards below:

Always amazed that ''reporters'' have to continually recycle the boring ''style change'' or ''different look'' story - for XXXXX sake we all dress differently every day - IT IS NOT NEWS. The fact that many people comment is of no consequence when the biggest comment (and my comment here is the same) is stop boring everyone with such non-event stories, there are a million interesting things happening in the world every day - don't you have reporters that can research? What the Dum Dum Girls are wearing today is far more interesting, but I suppose takes effort to look into.
Not sure why this is news at all?
