Best & Worst Dressed Of The Week: 11 August

Since we're always on the lookout for great celebrity style, here's a round-up of this week's best-dressed. And since there are often fashion misses among the hits, we couldn't resist pointing out those looks that were better off left on the hanger.

9 August: Jessica Ennis in Alexander McQueen leaving a party at Omega House in London This week, Team GB gold medallist Jessica proved she can look as fabulous in a cocktail dress and heels as she can in her Olympics kit when she wowed in this girly McQueen dress when out and about in London. We can't wait to see more of Jess' party style in the weeks and months to come.

6 August: Madonna at the opening of her new fitness club in Moscow Dear Madge, This whole 'dressing like your teenage daughter phase' has got to stop soon. Yes, you're in amazing shape but the boot/thigh high combo you're rocking looks like it's threatening to cut off your circulation. Please start dressing like someone in their twenties at least, we beg you. XOXO, MyDaily

6 August: Jennifer Garner in Lanvin at the premiere of The Odd Life of Timothy Green in Hollywood For her first red-carpet appearance post-third baby, five months after her son Samuel was born, Jennifer looked completely radiant in red Lanvin. The draped dress was super flattering on her post-baby curves and her hair and makeup are also impeccable.
Worst
6 August: Pink in Norma Kamali is announced as the newest face of CoverGirl in Santa Monica Pink looks gorgeous in her new CoverGirl campaign but we're not sold on this look. Sure, she's got awesome abs but the dress isn't really doing anything for her. Also, isn't she promoting herself as a spokesperson for a beauty brand? Who's looking at her face when her entire midriff is on display?

8 August: Jaime King in Marchesa at the 8th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree in West Hollywood Gorgeous dress, perfectly accessorized and we love the hair and makeup. No faults here.
Worst
9 August: Alexandra Burke attends Fashion For Relief: A Charity Dinner in London The singer is still discovering what works for her on the red carpet, so we can forgive her the odd misstep along the way. While this dip-dye maxi with side cut-outs is right on trend, the fit is all wrong and doesn't flatter Alexandra's athletic physique.
