Duchess Kate Gets Emotional At London 2012

The London 2012 Olympics has been an emotional rollercoaster for everyone - including the Duchess of Cambridge.

On Thursday we witnessed the Duke and Duchess get caught up in the action, while yesterday Duchess Kate was spotted enjoying no fewer than three events.

Kate kicked things off at the athletics to watch Jessica Ennis' impressive start in the heptathlon. This was followed by a jaunt to the hockey arena to support Team GB in their game against Pakistan. It was at the swimming during Rebecca Adlington's quest for gold in the 800m freestyle final, that Kate could no longer bare the tension, watching the race through her fingers.

The Duchess was all smiles at the hockey earlier in the day.

Duchess Kate wasn't the only Royal getting in on the action. Princess Beatrice - along with boyfriend Dave Clark - braved the weather in good humour at an equestrian event at Greenwich.

Oh for heaven's sake Ms McAuley - it's "bear the tension", not "bare the tension" - unless she was ripping her clothes off. Spelling mistakes in these comments are one thing, but when you are supposed to be a journalist ...

It is truly incredible (and more than just a little scary) that anyone has any empathy for those so priveleged that they haven't got to get up and go to work and can simply swan it to the jingolympics as if it's all in a hard day's work. Kate's hands? Christ almighty, who gives one? Princess Beatrice? Who cares (apart from the fortunate dentist who can claim extra on the nash by the number of teeth in her silly little head). Why report on this nonsense - it's a world away from reality.......please get real everyone - it's sickening!

Lovelyy girl, very down to earth like her deceased mother in law. Just wish William had bought her, her own engagement ring, though he probably bowed down to demands. To be honest she has lost too much weight and her clothes hang on her. She had a stunning body before the engagement and prior to the wedding clearly went on an extreme diet. The camera gains you seven pounds and she is far too thin. Quite sure Queeny will want her impregnated soon and her weight is a very low for healthy fertility. Wish the lovely couple a happy life though. that would be lovely to see as they appear very happy and in love, something Diana could never achieve. Least William had freedom to choose, Diana was always the loser in her relationship whilst her husband lusted after another woman. That's life it happens to the best of us

Lovely, if you're priviliged enough to get the tickets/seats in the first place for ANY event... unlike the crappy, phone and internet system that either kicks you off it, or says you're unlucky this time, thanks for playing our little teaser game .. "Dangly Carrot 2012"... unless you wanna buy the most expensive one - £1,500 for the Closing Ceremony!!!
Bitter??? Hell yeah!!!!... but just resigned myself to watching it all on the box instead!!
