The Queen Does Some More Queening In Birmingham, Wears Coral

Get updates from Philippa Warr:

QE2 continued her visit of the Midlands on Thursday, dropping in on the good people of Birmingham to give her coral coat an airing and greet some Diamond Jubilee well-wishers.

Also there is some discussion at MyDaily Towers as to whether she is doing some knighting on the sly (probably a profitable sideline in these tough economic times) as she seems to be dubbing the lady in the blue jumper with a bouquet of pointy flowers.

And then in this picture we like to think she's about to hustle the dude on the right in a game of table tennis.

I love the colour and I don't mean to appear nasty but I think this is a case of where the 'clothes wear the Queen' (as someone once wrote about Diana).. HM is looking good nowadays and her clothes are sparkling! well done to her Dressmaker. :)

If pensioners are to be means tested, then why not means test the Queen and all the royals? She is the wealthiest woman in the world, so why are British tax payers, (she pays no taxes) funding her and her family? She should be taxed to fund the "cradle to grave" social security that was promised to our now, pensioners, back in the late 40s.

I read she wore the same outfit while in hereford. She was seen to be laughing at herefords new bronze bull. The funny thing took place when someone remarked that the bull was black and looked more like a aberdean anges bull. Only hereford council could get it so wrong.

The truth is not rudeness. Public office should be limited and accountable, and NEVER hereditary.
