OMG. Actually make that an OMFG. The Spice Girls have reunited to celebrate the launch of their musical Viva Forever and we have the photos. Sure they've been snapped together in recent years, but this is the first time that we've seen all five - Sporty, Scary, Baby, Ginger and even Posh, in the same room for, like, EVER. The Spice Ladies posed with Jennifer Saunders, who has written the upcoming musical and the show's producer Judy Craymer.
Fun fact: These photos were taken at the St Pancras Hotel, which is where the Wannabe video was shot back in 1996.
A few initial observations/thoughts:
Doesn't Melanie C aka Sporty Spice look the spitting image of Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice?
Is Emma Bunton recycling Kate Middleton's Issa engagement dress?
Why the hell are they not dressed in this clobber? (We're almost certain Geri tried to persuade them...)
This seems to us as good an excuse as any to revisit this 1990s classic:
Viva Forever will open at the West End's Piccadilly Theatre on December 11.
