WHO? Hugh Grant (movie star), Meow (obese kitty), Dr Jennifer Steketee (vet at Santa Fe Animal Shelter)WHAT? Hugh was on the Today Show to chat about his role in animated movie The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists! Meow (well, Dr Steketee) was on the show to chat about his diet plan.
BONUS INFO: Meow came to the animal shelter after his 87-year-old owner decided she could no longer take care of him. The super sized 2-year-old kitty weighed in at a hefty 39lb and has been placed in foster care so he can lose weight gradually and healthily. The shelter noted: "He is sweet and friendly, but not a lap cat at his present weight!"
