The One Direction boys are taking over the world. After spending time in America they are now touring Australia, so naturally took time out to visit their biggest fan: Kat the koala at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

Zayn took to the Koala right away. We're just a little bit jealous of Kat here. We want to be kissed on the head by Zayn.

Louis seemed to really bond with Kat. We can imagine these pictures on the mantelpiece next to his family portraits.

Just like the entire nation, Kat instantly fell in love with heartthrob Harry and wasn't prepared to let go of him without a fight.

And as for Liam, we have picked up on the awkward smile and, can you hurry up and take the picture so I can put the koala down vibe.

Nevertheless, how cute are they!

As for Niall, he stayed well clear. On closer inspection we think we know the reason why.
