We made a quick trip to Bicester Village
this morning, where a very leggy Alexa Chung
was on hand to launch this year's exclusive British Designers Collective
pop-up store - a unique concept store featuring some of the hottest names in British fashion, with, equally importantly, some very impressive discounts...

Including names such as Jonathan Saunders
, Mario Schwab
, Peter Pilotto
and Nicholas Kirkwood
at up to 60% off (and breathe), the pop-up shop is exclusive to Bicester Village and it's parent company Value Retail - and will be open for the next six weeks.
"I'm really proud to be supporting the British Designers Collective on this Bicester pop-up store," Alexa said this morning. "It features some really exciting and amazing designers this year, and I can't wait to have a good shop. You'll find me rummaging through the rails!"
(Which is precisely what we were busy doing.)

Harold Tillman, Chairman of the BFC was also present to toast the launch this morning, saying: "The British Fashion Council are delighted to be continuing their collaboration with Bicester Village on the British Designers Collective boutique. This is a unique platform for London Fashion Week designers to showcase their designs to new audiences."
Oh, and one for the boys! While this is the third consecutive year that the British Designer's Collective shop has popped up at Bicester, new for 2012 is a menswear version, which will launch to coincide with the first ever London Menswear Fashion Week in May.
Go. Shop. Enjoy!
(Side note: We are in love with Alexa's Bella Freud jumper, which read Je t'aime Jane
on the front and Gainsbourg is God
on the back - a nod to the legendary love affair of Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg - and previously seen on Kate Moss, Sophie Dahl and Olivia Wilde. Just y'know, incase you were wondering.)
