When it was first announced that model Alice Dellal was going to front the Chanel Boy campaign, we gladly admitted surprise.

Months – and several behind-the-scenes videos and released photos – later, the pairing no longer has us in eyebrow-raised mode.

Alice, who is renowned her for her punky and edgy vibe, looks right at home through Karl Lagerfeld's lens. We love the gothic feel of these photos, but we do wonder how she can afford a covetable piece of Chanel arm candy but not a pair of ladder-less stockings. Just saying.
