- Bejewelled brows
It was all about the eyebrows at Chanel's spectacular Autumn/Winter show. The colourful mineral theme inspired the sparkling look, with sequins sewn into the brows to create a textured, rectangular shape.

- The return of the eye-flick
Heavy, black eyeliner was a big trend at the New York shows last month, and the smudged kohl look travelled across the pond to Paris. No where was the eye-flick more prominent than at Lanvin's show. A triangular shape was filled in the corner of the eyes, with a touch of white liner around the lower lash line for a brightening effect.

- Crazy for colour
Spray-painted hair was a big hit at the Spring/Summer shows, but the pastel-colours from last season were swapped for bronze highlights and dip-dye at Haider Ackermann and Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris. When it comes to Autumn/Winter hair, it's time to get experimental.

- Glamour undone
The minimal makeup trend still hasn't disappeared. The barely there look was seen at Gareth Pugh, Dior and Balmain in Paris, but while it was almost icy with the play on metallics in New York, these shows made undone beauty look effortlessly glamorous with glossy eyelids, lips and a faint touch of rosy blush on the cheeks. This is Paris after all.

- Colour pop
Those that like a statement lipstick will be pleased to hear that the trend isn't going away anytime soon. While nude lip shades were definitely more in favour this season, the likes of Rick Owens and Kenzo completed their Autumn/Winter designs with a colour pop shade on the lips. Pink, orange or red, it doesn't matter, just as look as it's bright.
