To find out all the latest news from the French capital, take a look below to see our full weekend round-up.
-
The show: Givenchy

The down-low: Riccardo Tisci's Autumn/Winter collection was inspired by French fashion photographer, Guy Bourdin. It was dark and glamorous and had a strong equestrian feel, with riding jackets, jodhpur style trousers, leather knee-high boots and extra-long, up-to-the-armpit gloves to match. Silk, slip dresses with lace detailing added a delicate edge, but these were made to look equally as severe with chunky leather belts and satin chokers to accessorise. This was a day at the stables, Givenchy style.

-
The show: Hermes

The down-low: The silhouette was slouchy and relaxed, the fabrics were luxe, with plenty of leather, cashmere and suede, and the look was one of a very well kitted out traveller. Fringed cloaks, loose-fitting leather trousers and chunky knitwear was seen in between the exquisite tailoring, teamed with trilbies and long, leather boots. Colourful, floral printed fabrics looked like pieces you'd pick up on a tour around the world, but this was an incredibly chic, elegant take on the old-fashioned jet-setter. It's Hermes, after all.

-
The show: John Galliano

The down-low: Birds adorned the models' heads at Galliano's Autumn/Winter show (we really wouldn't expect anything less), but the clothes were just as elaborate and magnificent as the beautifully structured, feathered designs. Satin, orange ruffled dresses and fitted, check jackets had a chic, vintage feel to them, but it was the sheer, silk evening wear that stole the show.

-
The show: Jean Paul Gaultier

The down-low: Gaultier went urban for Autumn/Winter 2012. Graffiti tags were everywhere, while neon-coloured furs accessoried the spray-painted pieces. There were oversized, tailored suits and leather biker jackets too, but it wasn't all ghetto street style in this collection. Metallic, lace and velvet trouser suits and dresses showed that this season's Gaultier girl likes to dress up too - in a not so subtle way.

-
The show: Katy Perry at Viktor & Rolf

The down-low: In Perry's eyes, you can never wear too much blue. She colour-matched her entire outfit for Viktor & Rolf's show in Paris this weekend. Way to be the centre of attention...

-
The show: Kenzo

The down-low: The colour palette was electric, the tailoring was super sharp and there were escalators to transport the models from one tier of the catwalk to another (there was a mega 50 looks to get through). Highlights included high-waisted satin trousers, monochrome stripes teamed with houndstooth prints and tweed skirt suits. if you're looking for a catwalk collection that you could actually pull off next season, this is the one for you.

-
The show: Stella McCartney

The down-low: Stella McCartney always manages to keep the contemporary woman in mind with her collections, and today's Autumn/Winter show was no different. Sporty skater dresses and cashmere coats were the epitome of pared down chic while body-hugging, knitted dresses and twinsets were the ultimate, comfy but flattering pieces. As for the striking blue, white and black floral prints - it's only a matter of time before her celebrity pals get their hands on them. There's no doubt Gwyneth and Kate will be at the front of the queue.

-
The show: Viktor & Rolf

The down-low: Inspired by the moon, Viktor & Rolf's Autumn/Winter collection was full of shimmering fabrics, structured silhouettes and an array of fur coats. There was a sense of romantic weariness about it though, with slinky silk jumpsuits and a black-heavy colour palette. The only shade used to add a softer edge, was a pale yellow moonshine, which only highlighted the fact that this is definitely a collection to wear after dark.

-
The show: Kenzo

The down-low: As if we needed any more confirmation that Kenzo's collection was the coolest in town yesterday, guess who rocks up? P-Diddy. He sat f-row with singer, Robyn.

-
The show: Vivienne Westwood Gold Label

The low-down: It was all Rule Britannia at Westwood's Paris show, but we're going to cut to the chase here with the piece de resistance: a model riding a bike around the catwalk in full-on feathers and sky-high platforms. Enough said.
