The Descendants Writer Mocks Angelina's Leggy Posing Onstage At The Oscars

You know how the 2012 Oscars red carpet started off being about everyone in attendance and then ended up being all "O HAI ANGELINA'S LEG"?

Well, it didn't go unnoticed by the other attendees as evidenced by Jim Rash (one of the three Best Adapted Screenplay winners for The Descendants) putting his best foot forward as he collected his gong - as presented by Angelina herself...

Speaking about the pose-based ribbing, Jim told Entertainment Weekly: "Honestly, as soon as I saw her pose like that, I was like, 'I'm going to do that.

"I knew Alexander [Payne] was going to take the reins [speechwise], so I was like, 'How can I make a moment?' - selfishly!"

When asked whether he was aware that while he was aping the pose, Angelina was still doing it herself on the far side of the stage he replied: "Are you serious? Oh my god, that's fantastic."

And to be fair, it was a ridiculous pose. We do get that it was to show off the slit in the dress but whenever she did it, all we could think about was how far apart her legs clearly were at that point!
