-
Anna Dello Russo's Milan style has gone from strength to strength. After her head-to-toe Prada outfit yesterday, she made a quick change into her evening gown for the Valentino store opening. However, Dello Russo can't simply wear a floor-sweeping designer dress in the manner of every other celebrity. She paired her dress with a halo-like hair accessory. Will Anna Angel Russo ever catch on?

-
Never mind the new collection, it was all about Roberto Cavalli's Alsatian Lupus at the Just Cavalli show this morning. We just have one question: why don't more fashion designers bring their dogs along for moral support?

-
Donatella Versace made her first appearance at Milan Fashion Week last night, as she stepped out for the Vogue Talents Corner party with Vogue Italy editor Franca Sozzani. In true Donatella style, she teamed her LBD with diamonds, fake tan and a lot of eyeliner. Enough said.

-
Could the pencil skirt be the Autumn/Winter staple? The sleek style was everywhere at Etro, in contrasting colour palettes and paisley prints. Snakeskin clutches and tailored jackets completed this Italian girl-about-town look perfectly. Pass us a pair of stilettos.

-
For a fun take on Italian chic, look no further than Just Cavalli's show. Of course there was leopard print, fur and just a touch of gold, but Cavalli's diffusion line is playful and above all, a little more wearable. The Autumn/Winter show featured androgynous camel coats, houndstooth prints, metallic leggings and comfortable knitwear. Mr Cavalli definitely had the cool kids in mind when he thought up this eclectic collection.

-
If Cavalli had fun with his Autumn/Winter collection, Moschino's Rosella Jardini was ready to party. There was colour-blocking on mini skirts and leggings, feather embellished dresses and a serious nod to the 60s with super short skirts and shifts paired with beehive hairdos. As for the accessories, heart-shaped pendants, bum-bags, ribbons and cowboy-style hats were a strong reminder that this collection was most definitely young-at-heart.

-
After the spectacular display of 50s Americana last season, Miuccia Prada's Autumn/Winter collection appeared a little sombre at first glance. Heavy eye makeup and waist-length locks added extra drama to the long, black wool coats and dresses, which were given Miuccia's magic touch with the addition of jewel embellishments and colour-block platform sandals. Printed pyjama suits followed, which brought orange and purple (the season's two biggest colours) into the mix but the long, buttoned-up jackets and waistcoats in androgynous shapes kept things a little too austere in places.
