Androgynous male model Andrej Pejic has been causing a stir amongst the fashion pack since he first stepped out on the womenswear catwalks, but rumour has it that Pejic is about to star in the most controversial beauty campaign yet.

According to WWD, Pejic has just landed his first beauty campaign for Jean Paul Gaultier's new men's fragrance, Kokorico, which launched in France last year.

While the promotional video starring Spanish model Jon Kortajarena has already been released, it's been said that the fashion house shot Pejic for the print campaign last week.

The brand hasn't commented on their decision to switch models, but as Pejic is already a favourite with the designer (he modelled Gaultier's couture collection last summer), perhaps they are simply sticking with what they do best: making an impact.
