Take a look below for the full round-up of all the news, trends and celebrity gossip from the last 24 hours at New York Fashion Week.
-
The show: Jenny Packham

The down-low: Packham told team MyDaily that her Autumn/Winter collection is "all about femme fatales and film noir this season", and with plenty of cinched-in waists and power shoulders, it was refreshing to see the designer attempt to show a darker side. That's not to say that the embroidered, floor-length gowns didn't have the usual elegance about them. We're expecting Duchess Kate to get her hands on one any day soon.

-
The show: Marc Jacobs

The down-low: Fashion week wouldn't be fashion week without a Big Bird style coat from Vogue Japan's editor-at-large, Anna Dello Russo. She debuted this white version on the Marc Jacobs front-row yesterday.

Go backstage at the Marc Jacobs show here...

-
The show: Carolina Herrera

The down-low: If we don't see one of Carolina Herrera's gowns on the red carpet soon, (we're talking to you, Renee Zellweger), we'll be very surprised. An Autumn/Winter colour palette of burnt orange, aubergine, plum and grey was seen on floor-sweeping skirts and gowns, with pencil skirts and cropped jackets adding a touch of business-woman chic to the otherwise flamboyant collection. Big hair and big dresses. What's not to like?

-
The show: Jenny Packham and Carolina Herrera

The down-low: Dita Von Teese was spotted looking rather demure in all-black at Jenny Packham while Herrera's biggest celebrity fan, Renee Zellweger, picked out her next red carpet gown from her magnificent Autumn/Winter collection.

-
The show: Marc Jacobs

The down-low: The Marc Jacobs fan club were out in force at his show yesterday. Dakota Fanning and Anna Wintour both showed their love for the designer with plenty of hugs backstage.

-
The show: Marc Jacobs

The down-low: Metallic pumps and brightly coloured totes were enough to make us want to skip a season at Jacobs' show yesterday, but really, the Autumn/Winter collection was all about the hats. Big, Boy George style headpieces were teamed with each and every design. Well done to the models who managed to stay on track on the catwalk, despite not being able to see anything.

-
The show: 3.1 Phillip Lim and Preen

The down-low: Monochrome made a return to the catwalk yesterday, with both Phillip Lim and Preen showcasing the best of black and white. Graphic prints in the two-tone colour palette emerged in Lim's clean, contemporary collection while the monochrome pieces in Preen's show stood out against the blurred, colourful prints.

-
The show: Jenny Packham and Alice + Olivia

The down-low: A rich, berry red lip colour completed Packham's femme fatale look, while the same shade added a touch of grown-up glamour to Alice + Olivia's colourful collection.

-
The show: Reem Acra

The down-low: Metallics have been a popular choice on the red carpet recently and Reem Acra gave the A-List a lot more glitz to choose from with a sparkling Autumn/Winter collection. Sequin embellished pencil skirts and the golden gown will definitely keep any magpies happy next season.

-
The show: Theysken's Theory

The down-low: Barely-there beauty was seen backstage at the Theory show, where crumpled ballgowns and wool coats were worn with plenty of attitude. Who needs layers of makeup when you're wearing a dress by Olivier Theyskens?
