My Fair Lady: Katy Perry Channels Eliza Doolittle For Paul McCartney Tribute

It seems as though Katy Perry has looked to the movies for her style inspiration again. Last week it was Monsters Inc, while at last night's celebrity packed MusiCares tribute to Paul McCartney, the singer looked a little like Audrey Hepburn's Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.

Normally it wouldn't be such a bad thing to be compared with Hepburn (she is the quintessential style icon), but we're not sure Katy pulls this look off.

The netted skirt (Granny's curtains?) and super-sized fascinator (erm... Granny's toilet paper?) don't really do it for us, especially when compared with what everybody else turned up in. Have a flick through the gallery below to see what we mean.
