Since we're always on the lookout for great celebrity style, here's a round-up of this week's best-dressed. And since there are often fashion misses among the hits, we couldn't resist pointing out those looks that were better off left on the hanger.
Check out our latest installment to see which stars nailed it and who was a fashion mess. And don't forget to check back each week to see who made the cut.

- Worst

8 February: Lindsay Lohan in Tom Ford at the amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fall 2012 Fashion Week in New York

Oh, Linds. This look is matronly on the young actress and the hair is so, so cheap-looking. As are those furry cuff-muffs on the coat.

- Best
6 February: Glenn Close in Stella McCartney at the 2012 Academy Awards Nominee luncheon in Beverly Hills

We love Glenn's fresh floral look - perfectly elegant, we can't think of an outfit we'd rather wear to a posh lunch.

- Worst
8 February: Paula Patton in Versus at the eBay Celebrity and Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Celebrate Pop-Up Gallery Exhibition in New York

Paula's a gorgeous girl, but we haven't been particularly impressed with her styling the last few months. While this dress shows off her gorgeous calves, it's a little frou-frou on top for the star and almost looks uncomfortably tight around the arms.

- Best
9 February: Diana Kruger in Giambattista Valli Couture at Les Adieux de la Reine premiere at the 62nd International Berlin Film Festival in Berlin

We're always excited to see what this red carpet stunner will wear, and this exquisite sequin gown is dramatic in all the right ways.

- Worst
6 February: Sharon Stone at AARP Magazine’s 11th Annual Movies for Grownups Awards Gala in Beverly Hills

This look isn't quite right, and we can't put our finger on why. Too much leather? Cheap-looking legging boots? Or is it just too dark and gloomy - maybe an accessory or pop of colour on the outfit itself would have helped?

- Best
6 February: Blair Waldorf (aka Leighton Meester) in Oscar de la Renta filming scenes for Gossip Girl in New York

OK, so she's a TV character and not a real person, but we had to include Blair Waldorf, because frankly, she was the best dressed of the week in this gorgeous taffeta Oscar de la Renta number. What a way to ring in New York Fashion Week!

- Best

6 February: Thandie Newton in Osman at the 2012 Laureus World Sports Awards in London

Thandie reminds us that basic black has just as much wow factor as colours or embellishments in this asymmetrical gown by Osman. Her hair, makeup and accessories are also flawless.
