Battle In Blue: Thandie Newton And Abbey Clancy Both Go Electric

Both Thandie Newton and Abbey Clancy opted for electric blue as they hit the red carpet on Tuesday night - Thandie for The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel premiere and Abbey for more Lynx related activities - but which lady's style did you prefer?

Abbey decided to show off her figure (as you would expect for a promotional appearance at a bodyspray launch based around being found attractive) in a zip-up bandage dress. Thandie, on the other hand, picked a draped asymmetrical dress with one long sleeve (after all, it is February).

Below the knee there's not much to choose between the two as both have opted for plain beige heels. Up top, Abbey's got her hair in loose blonde waves while Thandie has a brunette bun - all the better to show off her gold earrings.

Go orange...
 This Orange Crush eyeshadow shade is hot stuff, although not for the faint-hearted. This colour was seen at the Derek Lam show, worn with a touch of white highlighter on the eyelids and a nude shade on the lips. Line the eye lid, starting in the inner corner and trace along the lashes with a brush. Add a flick to the end for a 60s feel before dabbing the white highlighter in the corners and under the lower lash line. Keep the cheeks and lips neutral to really set off the tangerine shade.  And don't forget about the essential eye tools before you get started. Use an eye makeup primer to keep eyeshadow in place and have a good quality brush to hand to ensure smooth, even application.
