Preview: Alexa Chung Designs Valentine's Day Pudsey Bear

Alexa Chung has become the latest fashionista to treat Pudsey Bear to a makeover, all in the name of charity (but of course.)

The presenter follows in the footsteps of Brit designers Henry Holland, Giles Deacon and Katie Hillier, who released their efforts to raise money for Children in Need with the rest of the Designer Pudsey Collection last November.

And now Alexa's lands just in time for Valentine's Day. Ahhh...

Alexa's bear comes in luxe midnight blue velvet with silver paws and nose, and featuring a cutesy heart-motif eye patch in place of the traditional spotty bandana.

Completely huggable, no? Whether you love or loathe Miss Chung, there's no denying she's done a good thing for a good cause.

"I've grown up with BBC Children in Need and it's always amazing to see the power it has in bringing the UK together to help disadvantaged children," says Alexa. "The lengths people go to, to raise money is extraordinary and this was, I hope, my way of making a difference."

You can help make a difference too, by bidding on Alexa's bear at bbc.co.uk/Pudsey.
