Close Up: Victoria Beckham Is I-D Magazine's New Cover Girl

There have been some seriously impressive covers gracing newsstands this month: from Gwyneth getting leggy for Harpers Bazaar and Hollywood's rising stars joining forces for Vanity Fair (we even loved Daniel Radcliffe for Esquire). But this is a strong contender for our favourite cover of the moment...

Victoria Beckham gets a serious close-up to feature on the pre-spring cover of i-D, complete with thick wavy locks, heavily-lined eyes and immaculate brows.

Then of course there's the mug-and-straw 'Rise and Shine' business (a cunning ploy to show off those razor sharp cheekbones) but which makes us love it all even more.

And is there anyone else who could carry off a high-shine baker boy hat without looking like, well, a baker boy? We suspect not. (We wore one back in 2001. And there it shall stay.)
