Hit a style rut? Try the octopoob dress

Last week, the Paris couture catwalks were berated for their lack of shock-worthy originality, with fashion houses preferring to create beautiful but commercially-friendly frocks. The fashion designers of Rome had no such problems this weekend.

This weekend marked the beginning of AltaRoma, Italy's answer to couture week, and it's clear that the Roman designers did not suffer the creative inhibitions of their Parisian counterparts. Instead allowed their imaginations to run (disturbingly) wild.

And so we present the octopoob dress. Part octopus, part mammary gland, and 100% the product of designer Gianni Molaro's twisted mind. We simply don't know where to start when it comes to critiquing this creation, so we're just going to let the dress do the talking.
