Given its $400,000 price tag (£256,500 or thereabouts) we were half expecting "The most expensive T-Shirt in the world" to be made from unicorn tears and Rumpelstiltskin's spun gold thread.

The eco-friendly T-shirt (the brainchild of UK-based company Superlative Luxury) is made to your own personal measurements from 100% organic cotton and is embellished with no fewer than 16 diamonds (8 white and 8 'enhanced' rare black diamonds) each coming in at over 1ct.

Fast fact: 'Enhanced' diamonds are basically normal ones which have been given some extra special treatments to make them even more sparkly and fancy than before.
