- The Devonshire Arms, Beeley, Derbyshire<p> For Sunday lunch with a bit of history on the side, this 18th century coaching inn on the picturesque Chatsworth Estate is one of Derbyshire's local treasures.</p> <p> While Charles Dickens was once a visitor at this prestigious Inn, it's now more famous for serving up top pub grub (it has been named Derbyshire's Gastro Pub of the Year for three year's running). Local produce is in abundance here - there's a daily menu of game caught from the Estate and many other ingredients are sourced from the Chatsworth farm shop and vegetable garden.</p> <p> Look out for the pub's Barter board too. If you bring an ingredient which is requested on the board you will receive a bar token in exchange.
