Harrods has announced that Florence and the Machine will mark the opening of its sale on 27 December with a special performance for shoppers.

Florence Welch and her bandmates will entertain eager shoppers with an acoustic set as they queue ahead of the department store opening its doors at 9am.

Last year Jerry Hall and Elizabeth Jagger where on hand at Harrods to greet shoppers for the opening of the renowned designer sale.
