Kim Kardashian Helps Feed The Homeless For Thanksgiving

We're not entirely sure we've ever seen Kim Kardashian in a kitchen before, but the reality TV starlet was doing her bit for the local community yesterday - volunteering to help feed the homeless for Thanksgiving.

Kim K was taking part in the LA Mission 'Homeless' project down on the infamous Skid Row in Los Angeles, where she helped both prepare and serve the holiday feast.

"Just left the LA Mission," she posted on Twitter afterwards. "Met so many kind hearted people! They're goal is to feed 120,000 people by the end of the yr! We fed so many today."

And Kim even appropriately down-played her styling for the occasion, leaving the figure-hugging mini dresses at home in favour of black jeans and a red apron, and swapping her tumbling curls for a long side-swept plait. (We note she didn't quite manage to part from her false lashes though, but hey, give a girl points for trying.)

Kim was joined by fellow famous faces Zoe Saldana (who was practically unrecognisable in specs and sans makeup) and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

"Help feed more people!" Zoe Tweeted. "Log in and donate! www.feedLANow.org."

While the act will no doubt have some screaming 'publicity stunt', we're applauding the girls for helping to highlight such a worthwhile cause. More stars would do well to take a leaf out of their book.
